The Mobile Language Project in cooperation with the Neighbourhood Immigrant Settlement Workers [NISWs] has two locations in Winnipeg and the Winnipeg Free Press featured one of the projects based out of the North End. Each year at University of Manitoba, two students who demonstrate exceptional commitment and leadership skills, and whose actions are helping to bridge the local and the global, are awarded the Nahlah Ayed Prize for Student Leadership & Global Citizenship.
